I wouldn’t know a life without dogs. Dogs are our heroes when we need them the most and it never matters the situation; they are by your side. Having trained canines in many areas of therapies such as special needs children and also for individuals in the most vulnerable situations, I witnessed firsthand the love, nurturing and stability a canine can provide. These many experiences shown & given to me through the eyes of my own dogs inspired me to take a leap of faith & love to start this business- because I care.

Lorne Burke
Lorne was born and raised in St. Peter’s. His favourite thing is taking his 4 dogs fishing or venturing to the top of the mountain and cooking fish on a campfire! Eager to put his skill as journeyman carpenter to work, he worked on renovating the east bay church hall into a one of a kind Dog Lodge. Lorne was a big part in making this dream a reality, and it wouldn’t have been possible without his hard work and support!
